Food and Music Tents at the Kentucky State Fair

If you like music, there’s no place with as many free bands playing at once than at the Kentucky State Fair. Eleven days, six food and music tents and countless hours of jam time makes any day and time of the Fair a music-lovers dream.

Whether you come in the morning on the first day or at night on the last, the Budweiser True Music Entertainment Tent offers cold drinks and great music. Cool off under their massive tent and sit and listen to the sounds of Lamont Gillispie & 100 Proof, VooDoo Avenue, Little T&A and more.

Eat some home-cooked barbecue, sit in the shade and listen to old Kentucky tunes at the Lawn Party Tent sponsored by the Q. Be entertained by the Whiskey Bent Valley Boys and the Wulfe Bros.

Enjoy the summer sun and relax to some tunes in the West Courtyard LIVE! Tent. Located in the middle of many food vendors, grab yourself a classic fair food and sit and eat. See performances by Steel the Night, Keeling & Rhodes and y-noT.

Sing out loud with old and new country music hits at the Sivori Country Music Tent. You won’t be in Nashville, but you will think you are with local country talent such as The MacDaddies and Hog Operation.

Think you can sing? Test your singing skills in the popular karaoke contests at the Mike Linnig’s Tropical Tent. The performers in this tropical tent love crowd participation so sit back to enjoy or get up and sing.

New this year, you can enjoy the best from Kentucky at the Kentucky Proud Experience Tent located in the West Lawn. You can purchase farm fresh products and local beverages and learn about Kentucky Proud and its members. Try a number of local craft beers, Kentucky bourbon, nonalcoholic offerings and farm fresh menu options.
