Celebrate Kentucky Farm Bureau Day at the Kentucky State Fair

The Kentucky State Fair celebrates Thursday, August 21 as Kentucky Farm Bureau Day with several well-known Fair events.

The day kicks off at 7:30 a.m. with the 51st Annual Kentucky Ham Breakfast and Auction. This breakfast and auction celebrates a proud tradition of showcasing superior-quality country hams.

The Kentucky Farm Bureau Federation Annual Gospel Quartet Contest follows just after the ham breakfast and auction at 9:00 a.m. with the inspirational sounds of gospel. Located on the Select Kentuckiana Chevy Dealers Family Stage.

End the celebrated Kentucky Farm Bureau Day with the annual 4-H and FFA Sale of Champions. During this event eight 4-H and FFA exhibitors sell their champion livestock to hometown and national supporters. Proceeds of the sale are divided between the exhibitor of the animal, class winners in that specie, the Kentucky 4-H and Kentucky FFA.
