Jagged Edge with special guest Dru Hill
Jagged Edge with special guest Dru Hill will be performing for FREE at the Kentucky State Fair on Friday, August 21, as part of the Turf Concert Series in Cardinal Stadium.
Jagged Edge is an American R&B from the late 90’s. The group’s twin brothers, Brian and Casey, wrote many of the group’s hit songs. They have also written for Usher, Toni Braxton and Nivea. One of their hit songs titled “I Gotta Be” reached NO.11 on the R&B charts and NO.23 on the Hot 100. Their album “J.E. Heartbreak” went double platinum, and included the hit single “Let’s Get Married” that topped the R&B charts. Their other popular chart-topping songs include “He can’t Love You,” “Promise” and “Walked Outta Heaven.”
Special guest Dru Hill was formed by four high school friends in 1992. They perform soul, hip-hop soul and gospel music. Founded in Baltimore, Maryland and named after their neighborhood Druid Hill Park, Dru Hill has recorded seven top 40 hits. Their hit songs include R&B NO.1 hits “In My Bed,” “Never Make a Promise” and “How Deep Is Your Love.” The group was signed to Island Records, where they produced two successful albums before separating until 2002. During the separation, group members Sisqo and Wood released solo albums. Sisquo is remembered for his hit single “Thong Song.”
