Family Force 5, Hawk Nelson, Matt Maher and For King and Country
Family Force 5, Hawk Nelson, Matt Maher and For Kind and Country will perform for FREE at the Kentucky State Fair on Sunday, August 30 at 4 p.m. as a part of the Turf Concert Series in Cardinal Stadium. Together, the Christian artists bring a variety of different styles of music that audiences of all ages will enjoy.

Canadian Christian rock band Hawk Nelson was made famous with their song, “The One Thing I Have Left” which won a No. 1 spot on VH1’s top 20 video countdown in 2006. They were also voted favorite new artist by CCM Magazine, and have released nine albums to date.
Matt Maher is a Canadian contemporary Christian music artist, songwriter and worship leader. Maher is a scholarship winner for studies in jazz piano from Arizona State University and has written and produced seven solo albums to date. He is also a five-time Grammy nominee. Some of his hit songs include, “Lord, I Need You,” “Hold Us Together” and “Christ Is Risen.”
For King and Country
Born in Sydney, Australia, but relocated to Nashville, TN, brothers Joel and Luke complete the country duo For King and Country. In 2012 they released their album “Crave” which followed their 2014 album “Run Wild. Live Free. Love Strong.” Some of their hits include “Busted Heart,” “The Proof of Your Love” and “Middle of Your Heart.” For King and Country won the Grammy for Best Contemporary Christian Album for “Run Wild. Live Free. Love Strong,” and Best Contemporary Christian Music Performance Song, “Messengers,” in 2015.
