Slaughter and Great White

The bands Slaughter and Great White will be performing for FREE in the 2015 Kentucky State Fair on Thursday, August 20, as part of the Turf Concert Series Cardinal Stadium. You do not want to miss the opening night of this series with these two rock bands!

Slaughter, an American hard rock band, was formed in 1990 in Las Vegas, Nevada. The band is credited with one of the biggest 80’s comeback stories ever. Their debut album “Stick it To Ya” charted Top 40 songs on Billboard Magazine’s Hot 100, including “Up All Night,” “Fly to the Angels” and “Spend My Life.” In 1991 they won the American Music Award for favorite heavy metal/hard rock new artist.

Great White will be returning to Louisville for the first time in over six years! This all American hard rock band from Los Angeles, California formed in 1978. Since 1984 they have released 12 studio albums, and sold over 8 million records. Their hit songs include “Once Bitten, Twice Shy” and “Rock Me.”

All 2015 Turf Concert Series concerts are FREE with paid admission to the Kentucky State Fair, and begin at 8 p.m.
